George F*cking Romero!
I promised I would post pictures of the Kansas International Film Festival, and here they are. My wife and I had a total blast meeting George Romero and Tom Savini. Mr. Romero is one of the kindest, most patient people I have met. I applaud him for his work, and for really putting himself out there for his fans. Having met Mr. Savini in 2003, I wasn't surprised to see him persevere, despite the ravenous fans (myself included).

Thanks! It was a real treat to meet the man who has brought so much joy to zombie fans all over the world. He was a wonderful guy. I only wish we had more time to chat.

I was able to listen to him on NPR while he was in Kansas City. He sounded like a genuinely positive fellow, with a lot of motivational things to say about indie film production. I'm glad you were able to meet the man.
